Ellis Rainsberger

Ellis D. Rainsberger is a former American football and Canadian football player, coach, and scout. He served as the head football coach at Washburn University , Southern Illinois University Carbondale , and Kansas State University , compiling a career college football record of 27421. Rainsberger was the head coach of the USFLs Pittsburgh Maulers for part of the 1984 season, tallying a mark of 17. He was most recently a scout with the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins of the National Football League .
